Jonathan Fiepke

Swimming
Jonathan was a four-time state qualifier and five-time state champion swimmer who helped his team win the state title in 2010. He is the number eight all-time performer in the 100-yard freestyle at the state meet. He was a five-time All American who was recognized twice as the Iowa High School Swimming Athlete of the Year. In 2011 he qualified for Junior Nationals and was the Class of 2013 Student Athlete of the Year.
He went on to swim at the University of California, Berkeley where his team won both the NCAA Division 1 National Championship and the PAC-12 Championship in 2014. He was also a member of the team which finished as NCAA National Championship runner-up in 2015, 2016 and 2017. He was a three-time letter winner and earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention and CSCAA Swimming and Diving Scholar All-American honorable mention selection. He also competed in the Pac-12 Championships in 2016 and 2017 and achieved NCAA B Cuts in 2014, 2016, and 2017.
He currently resides in San Francisco and works in real estate as a senior associate of investments.
Jonathan’s favorite memories involve DCHS students having great school spirit; getting out of class early on Fridays for pep rallies; Coach Crouch’s enthusiasm at 5:30 a.m. practices; and team breakfasts and carbo-loads before meets.
