• Evening of Style

  You’re invited to join us in supporting one of Dowling Catholic’s most unique events - the Evening of Style - presented by Iowa Radiology!
  
  This creative “Ladies Night Out” event takes place on February 6, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi in West Des Moines and offers an evening of fun with dinner, drinks, uniquely themed dining tables coordinated by guests who come in attire to match, and a style show featuring fashions created by Dowling Catholic High School students. 
  
  Proceeds raised benefit the Bash on Buffalo Auction and will support the STEM Endowment to enhance programming for all students in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. STEM education offers a hands-on approach and prepares students for real world scenarios by developing skills in critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, teamwork, and communication.

• The Bash on Buffalo

  SAVE THE DATE!  Dowling Catholic's biggest party of the year takes place on Saturday, April 12, 2025 when we celebrate the 41st anniversary of the Bash on Buffalo!

  
  

  This captivating evening features a silent auction with onsite and remote bidding opportunities, an energetic live auction, delicious food, signature drinks, raffle, and more! 
  
  

  2025 Bash proceeds support the STEM Endowment to enhance programming for all students in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. These four areas of study help students develop skills and prepare for college and career opportunities with critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, teamwork, and communication.

• Golf Outing

  The 46th Annual Dowling Catholic Golf Outing presented by Mercedes-Benz of Des Moines was held on Monday, August 5th at the Terrace Hills Golf Course in Altoona.
  
  

  With the support of our sponsors and the Dowling Catholic community, we raised over $55,000 in support of the Coppola Family Endowment Fund which has provided tuition assistance for DCHS students for over 50 years.
  
  The 2025 Golf Outing will be held on Monday, August 4.

• Grandparents Mass

  THANK YOU to all the grandparents who joined us from near and far for Grandparents Mass on Thursday, October 3rd. During this annual celebration, grandparents had the opportunity to hear from student and faculty speakers, celebrate Mass with their grandchildren, and enjoy a time of reunion and fellowship.

• Pancake Breakfast

  The 64th Annual Dowling Catholic Pancake Breakfast will be held on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, at the Varied Industries Building at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

• Wine Tasting

  Enlighten your palate and experience an exclusive evening of specialty wines from Tuscany with world-renowned Italian sommelier, Claudia Callegari.

  The Christmas Luncheon will be held on December 4, 2025 at Glen Oaks Golf & Country Club.
  
  This event is the perfect way to celebrate Christmas and the Dowling Catholic community with a wonderful lunch, special guest speakers and entertainment from student musicians and vocalists. A great way to start the season of Advent.
