The impact of donors can be seen immediately upon entering campus with the addition of the Coppola Family St. Joseph Chapel and a building which has been completely transformed. In the classroom students have access to the latest technology and a challenging curriculum which prepares them for educational and career opportunities that will allow them to thrive in a global community.
Generous contributions provide opportunities for students to participate in a wide variety of activities that develop their interests and teach them the value of leadership and citizenship. We Are Maroons Annual Appeal
This is our largest annual fundraiser. Every aspect of Dowling Catholic - including a portion of tuition assistance, student activities, academic programming, and the arts - is supported by the Annual Appeal. Financial support from the Annual Appeal and other revenues pay 20 percent of the total per pupil cost. That equates to a "gap" amount of $3,088 between the full cost of education and what tuition and parish support cover. For more information click here.
Matching Gifts
A matching gift is provided via a participating company based on the contribution to Dowling Catholic High School by the company's employees and spouses. The company matches the gift only after the donor has sent his or her gift to Dowling Catholic along with the company's matching gift form. These forms can be obtained from the Human Resources office of most companies. Check with your Human Resources office to find out what gifts they match or use the new search feature on the Matching Gifts page.
Workplace Giving
Workplace giving is the opportunity for employees to give to charitable causes through their employers. Many employers, such as Wells Fargo, Principal and Meredith Corporation, offer automatic payroll deduction – and employer matching funds - to nonprofits. The United Way also offers designation to nonprofits such as Dowling Catholic. Ask your employer if they offer this opportunity and/or look for the upcoming United Way campaign and designate Dowling Catholic today!
Planned Giving/Estate Gifts
A planned gift allows you to shape your legacy while helping Dowling Catholic achieve and expand our mission. From a bequest made through your will or living trust to naming DCHS as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy or IRA, there are many ways to make an enduring impact on Dowling Catholic. Endowment
Build a legacy at Dowling Catholic by creating a named endowment to honor or memorialize a family member, mentor or friend. Memorials
Families often suggest sending memorial contributions to Dowling Catholic upon the passing of a loved one with a special affinity to Dowling Catholic High School.
