Jake Hummel

Jake was a member of the 2014, 2015 and 2016 state championship football teams.

He averaged over 60 tackles per season and was recruited by Iowa State University where he earned bachelor’s degrees in finance and business analytics.

 

He finished his college career with 228 tackles and 18 tackles for loss. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 2022 and is currently an inside linebacker for the Rams.

 

He is recently married to Dowling alum Ashley (Coppola) Hummel ‘17, his high school sweetheart.

 

Jake’s favorite memories include learning values in his faith, hard work, dedication, and striving for excellence through all the leaders he was surrounded by at Dowling Catholic.
