Dear Parents:

I hope your summer has been enjoyable so far.  As is always the case, summer is a busy time at school.  We are busy getting the school  ready for the 2010-2011 school year.  I’m enclosing with this letter some reminders for you:

 

 

• most of the back-to-school information is posted on our website – you can reach it on the main web page and go to “summer online information” - a back-to-school packet will be mailed home in late-July with more back-to-school information in it

 

• student orientation information has been posted –freshman orientation will be Monday, August 23, and orientation for sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be Tuesday, August 24 – more information to follow

 

• freshman Mass/orientation is Sunday, Aug. 22 @ 9:00 & senior

mass/orientation is Sunday, Aug. 29 @ 10:00 – these 2 masses are

for students and parents, and will include a parent orientation; parent

orientation for junior parents is Monday, Aug. 23 @ 6:30 PM, and

for sophomore parents Tuesday, Aug. 24 @ 6:30 PM

 

• please review the new traffic flow information on the DCHS

website – the new traffic pattern begins August 16 – it will take

a lot of cooperation on everyone’s part, but should improve the

traffic flow in/out of school very much

 

• this year’s “Mini-School” night is  September 8 – also, we will

continue using the on-line scheduler for parent-teacher

conferences this coming year, since it was so successful last

year – conference dates are Fall, 10/20-21 and Spring 2/16-17 –

more information will follow as we get closer to these dates
